Life During Wartime
By Keith Reddin
Directed by Kristen Loree
The play begins with Tommy, an impressionable young man working at a home-security company, being initiated into the hard sell tactics by his boss Heinrich-- "Let's be realistic, it's a dangerous world. Everyone has a weapon." This absurd black comedy examines the dangers and fears of modern life when home security salesmen create crime rather than prevent it…what follows is love, murder, mayhem, and deceit, all punctuated with zany appearances by theologian John Calvin!

The Water Engine: An American Fable
By David Mamet
Directed by Paul Ford
The Water Engine is aptly described as an American fable. Set in 1934 against the background of the Chicago Century of Progress World’s fair, inventor Charles Lang has made an incredible discovery. He has designed an engine fuelled solely by distilled water, which will revolutionize industry forever. He soon discovers that progress comes at a sinister price. Originally written as a radio play, Mamet adapted it for stage in 1977, creating a tense and darkly comic noir thriller in which one man’s dreams are pitted against big business.

The House of Yes
By Wendy McLeod
Directed by Elizabeth Dwyer
As a hurricane rages, Marty arrives home with his unsophisticated fiancé, Lesly. The Thanksgiving festivities, however, are considerably less than wholesome, as Lesly discovers the moment she meets Marty's dysfunctional family, including his unbalanced twin sister, Jackie-O, who has some unusual obsessions. This dark comedy zings with snappy, stylized dialogue as the story unfolds of a house consumed by violence, incest and a bizarre fixation on the Kennedy assassination.
