Romeo Alonzo joined the UNM Department of Theatre and Dance in February of 2006. He has over 18 years of administrative and customer service experience and an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Accounting from Central New Mexico Community College. In his spare time, Romeo enjoys the arts, playing Rugby for local club teams, playing music, and the outdoors. He is responsible for the department's accounting functions.

Melinda Jordan is a part time Administrative Assistant 11 for the department and assists the Head of Dance, Donna Jewell, in the dance program. She is also an award winning graphic designer and writer and does much of the graphic work for the department, as well as being a freelancer outside of the university.

Sarah Lentz is the Department Administrator for Theatre and Dance. She has worked at the University of New Mexico since July 1991. She received her BUS specializing in Dramatic and Creative Writing and feels fortunate to be working as an administrator in the field she loves. Sarah is happy to assist anyone and everyone who needs information or assistance pertaining to the Department of Theatre and Dance.

Back in his acting days during the late 70's, Leif was a student in the department for several years. He then took an acting apprenticeship at Actors Theatre of Louisville, where he developed a knack for the stagecraft end of the business. Since then, he has worked in the scene shops of Actors Theatre of Louisville, Indiana Repertory Theatre and Trinity Square Repertory Co. Most recently, he served as technical director of the Arizona Theatre Co. for 7 years, before moving back to his home state in July of 2005. Leif has a BA in Theatre & Media Arts from University of Arizona and an Associate Degree of Applied Sciences in Computer-aided Drafting from the Louisville Technical Institute. He is the production manager for the department, supervises Practicum and teaches stage management. He also runs a 5-acre micro-farm in Placitas and is a vendor at several local farmer's markets.

Christina has worked for the Department of Theatre and Dance for almost five years. She has a Master's Degree in Theatre and Dance with an emphasis in Directing. Christina has also taught Theatre Appreciation for the UNM West Branch. She has appeared in community theatre, commercials, and film. In her spare time, Christina likes to read and walk her doggies.
