Studios
The theatre program operates in UNM’s Center for the Arts. Rodey Theatre and the Experimental Theatre serve as teaching spaces as well as performance venues. In addition to these theatres, the Department has two rehearsal studios. Each rehearsal studio has a set of rehearsal furniture and a piano.
The dance program at UNM operates in historic Carlisle Gym. Five studios
accommodate all the dance classes in the program, with the Carlisle Performance Space acting as both classroom and theater for student performances. Four studios have a Marley floor and up-to-date sound equipment. The ballet studio has a piano for live accompaniment, and the flamenco studios have sound equipment for live guitar as well.
