With generous support from the New Mexico Legislature in 2006 and 2007, the Sustainability Studies Program at UNM is spearheading a sustainability effort throughout Albuquerque and the state. The program has launched a new minor degree in Sustainability Studies, among the first of its kind in the United States. Engaging our students with the greater New Mexico community connects us all.

We welcome your support as a way of realizing your intentions to transform society at a critical time. Our goal is to benefit humanity in association with creatures everywhere while facing the challenge of providing long-term access to health, food, shelter, transporation, energy, and water. Please consider donating your time, formally or informally, in the classroom or in the field. Other resources or money for scholarships, student travel, and supplies enable students to engage in real-world projects that help everyone.
