We will accept your new housing contract as early as 11 months before a term starts. Each contract is for an academic year or summer session. Some contracts are available for spring term. Living assignments are first-come, first-served. Apply early for the best chance of obtaining your hall preferences.

Paper Applicants

• All students under the age of 18 must fill-out the Paper Application.
• All summer session students must fill-out the Summer Application.
• Download a free copy of Adobe Acrobat if needed.

On-Line Applicants

Students 18 and older, please follow the on-line application process below for those with or without a UNM Net ID:

Have a UNM Net ID already? Net ID Applicants

• Enter your UNM Net ID and Password
• If you are a first time applicant, complete the New Housing Account Questions
• Select Term
• Fill in your Student ID # (SSN)
• Click on NEXT STEP to complete your application
• Agree to all terms and conditions
• You will need a Visa or MasterCard to pay processing fees on-line

Future Students without a UNM Net ID: No Net ID

• Fill out New Account Info to begin the process
• Click "Login" to continue your application
• Go to the Grey Box in lower left corner and enter your email address and a password
• Select Term
• Click on NEXT STEP to complete your application
• Agree to all terms and conditions
• You will need a Visa or MasterCard to pay processing fees on-line
