Living Learning Communities
Are You an Entering Freshman?
Give yourself a headstart!Your first semester will be a time of adventure, uncertainty, and new beginnings. Freshman Living Learning Communities (LLCs) help ease your transition from high school and home to living independently and succeeding academically at UNM. LLCs offer you the opportunity to learn from one another and to share your first semester experiences.
Each LLC consists of 18 students who share academic interests. Students take common courses and live together in a residence hall.
The eight Living & Learning Communities (LLC) offered in Fall 2008 include:
- Architecture & Planning
- Biology
- Engineering
- Fine Arts
- Health Professions
- International Studies
- Management
- Language & Culture
You must apply separately to the LLC program prior to July 15th for the Fall term, as well as send in your Housing Application.
