Important Dates 2009-2010

 

All residence halls remain open during Fall and Spring Breaks. During Winter Recess only the SRC and Redondo Village apartments are open; the rest are closed and locked. If you need to stay during winter recess, please contact Housing Assignments/Reservations (505) 277-2606 to buy an intersession contract and temporarily relocate.

Fall Semester 2009
  • August 17 - Early Arrival Day ($30 fee will be added to your Bursar Account)
  • August 18 - 24 Regular Move-In Days
  • August 18 - 29 RHA Rez-Hall-A-Daze
  • August 23 - New Student Convocation
  • August 23 - Mandatory Floor/Wing Meetings (Evening)
  • August 24 - CLASSES BEGIN
  • August 26 - Room Change Requests due
  • September 7 - Labor Day - No Classes
  • September Room Change process (or as space becomes available information at front desk)
  • October 15 - 16 Fall Break
  • October 23-24 Family Weekend/Homecoming
  • Novermber 26-29 Thanksgiving Break;  All Uniiversity offices are closed; halls remain open
  • December 18 Winter Commencement
  • December 20 Traditional Halls close at 12:00p.m. for Semester Break - no re entry into buildings and no mail delivered; all university offices closed December 24 - January 4

 

Spring Semester 2010
  • January 14 Halls/Apartments Open
  • January 19 CLASSES BEGIN
  • January Room Change Requests Due
  • February Return Student Application process online
  • March 15 - 19 Spring Semester Break
  • April 2009-2010 Desk Assistant Selection process begins
  • May 15 All halls close, residents must move all belongings out of halls
Summer Session 2010
