CPS Frequently Asked Questions

1. I tried to register my keypad, I registered under "University of New Mexico Albuquerque", instead of "University of New Mexico", how can I fix this?
   
   To fix this, you will have to contact CPS's technical support and tell them that you need them to remove you from the "University of New Mexico Albuquerque" database, and add you to the "University of New Mexico" database.


2. How much am I supposed to pay?
   
   The UNM bookstore charges $24.00 per clicker. This $24.00 includes the $15.00 eInstruction fee. The package contents contain a code for students to register to waive the $15.00 fee. This code is called a cps enrollment code and is printed on the larger of two white pieces of paper.


3. I've already paid eInstruction $15.00 to register my clicker. Can I get my money back?
   
   Yes. Contact eInstruction payment support: paymentsupport@einstruction.com to receive credit on your credit card.


4. Can I use a clicker from a previous semester?
   
   Yes. But you must pay $15.00 per semester that you use it. $15.00 allows for unlimited number of classes per semester that use the eInstruction system.


5. I didn't enter my name when I registered for webassign. How do I go back and enter it.
   
   Login to your einstruction account by navigating to www.einstruction.com. Once logged in to your account, click on "Update My Profile".

• When registering your clicker, do not choose the institution labeled "University of New Mexico Albuquerque", choose "University of New Mexico.


• Please remember to enter your first and last name when registering your keypad. If you do not enter your name, we will have no way to know whether or not you are responding in class.
