Submit your work

Submit your work to be published in the 2009-2010 issue of Conceptions Southwest!

Great magazines start with great contributors, and we know that UNM is full of poets, authors, musicians, artists, architects, and playwrights with amazing talents. Show off your stuff by submitting your creative works to CSW. We are now accepting submissions for our 2008-2009 issue in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, photography, visual art, scripts, music, and architecture.

Deadlines
CSW will accept submissions for publication until our Final Deadline at 5 p.m. December 11.

About Conceptions Southwest

Conceptions Southwest (CSW) has been the fine arts and literary magazine of the University of New Mexico since 1978. The magazine is published by a student staff every year in the spring semester.  It serves as a creative outlet and solicits work from UNM undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, faculty, staff and participants in Continuing Education. Almost any medium of expression is encouraged, but the main categories of submissions generally fall into art, theater, fiction, nonfiction, poetry and photography.

Because each year brings in a potentially new editor and volunteer staff, requirements for each issue are subject to change. Please check for the latest requirements or contact CSW directly.
